Project notes

Ongoing exploration of form, material and place. These works consider stone, surface and site, documenting a conversation between natural structure and human intervention. Each piece is made slowly, then left to settle into the ground and the weather that will keep changing it.

Material, place and time

The work lives outdoors, in real places, and changes there. Stone weathers, cast concrete settles into its colour and steel takes on a skin. A piece made well uses that slow change rather than fighting it, so it belongs a little more each year to the ground it stands on.
